Eva Moser (born July 26, 1982 in Tamsweg, Austria) is a chess Woman Grandmaster and International Master who has won both the men's and women's Austrian Chess Championship, and has represented Austria in four Chess Olympiads. == Chess career == Moser started playing chess at the age of 10. She won the Austrian Girl's Chess Championship, in various age groups, eight times. In 1998 Moser finished equal first, and won the silver medal, at the Under 16 Girl's European Youth Chess Championship in Mureck, behind Ana Matnadze who won on tie-break.〔(European Youth Championships ), Chess Scotland〕 The same year, she finished fifth in the Under 16 Girl's World Youth Chess Championship in Oropesa del Mar. Moser represented Austria in the open chess Mitropa Cup three times in 1999, 2002, and 2004.
